Wivenhoe tennis club

 Fees

Adult Membership

See below for full details. Visitors can attend three club play sessions without payment before deciding to join.

Adult membership entitles a player to use the courts for all club play, team and singles matches. Balls and floodlights (where necessary) are provided. A small match fee for home matches is also payable. Club members may also use the courts at other times and if playing with non-members, a 'Pay and Play' reduced fee is payable: the amount is given in the full list of charges. If using the courts under floodlights for pre-arranged games, members are requested to make a contribution in the honesty box provided.

Junior membership

Junior members may attend club play sessions if of a sufficient standard. The fee for junior membership can be found in our list of current subscriptions.

Want to join the club?

Please speak to a committee member for information about the club and how to join. Mark Wallington, the club's treasurer and membership secretary, can provide you with the relevant application form.

Public Pay and Play

Non-members of the club may use the courts for a fee of £15 per court per hour. An additional charge is made for public pay and play using floodlights. To book a court and make payment via BACS please contact Mark Wallington on 07826 528338.

Note that the courts are frequently used for League matches on Monday and Wednesday nights, so please check if you want to come down on those evenings.
